College Players

Our program is designed to not only develop quality baseball players, but also to develop quality young men and citizens. We are very proud of the following players who took advantage of the opportunity to continue their education and playing careers in college.

Drafted Players

The dream of every ballplayer is to be drafted by a Major League Baseball team. The SW York Outlaws program has been fortunate to have the following players selected in the Major League Baseball Amateur Draft:

PARKER BEAN

Selected in the 36th round of the 2016 draft by the Milwaukee Brewers.

Parker was a 2012 graduate of South Western High School and went on to pitch collegiately at Division I Liberty University. 

MATT HOCKENBERRY

Selected in the 9th round of the 2014 draft by the Philadelphia Phillies.

Matt was a 2010 graduate of South Western High School and went on to pitch collegiately at Division I - Temple University.

Matt currently serves as a minor league pitching coach in the Phillies organization.

PAUL BINGHAM

Selected in the 20th round of the 2010 draft by the San Diego Padres.

Paul was a 2006 graduate of South Western High School and went on to play collegiately at Division II - Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
